Another way to type accented characters into the web page is to use the accent bar, located at the bottom of the screen. To use the accent bar:
  1. Click on the white text box at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Type the letters of the word as you normally would, and when you get to a special character, click the appropriate character. (For example, to type "voilà," type "v o i l," then click "à".)
  3. Highlight the completed text by dragging the mouse over it.
  4. Copy the highlighted text. To copy the highlighted text, hold down the Apple button (located to the left of the space bar) and press the letter "c".
  5. Click on the text box where you want to paste the word.
  6. Paste the text into the text box. To paste the highlighted text, hold down the Apple button and press the letter "v".
